Job Description
To provide and be responsible for sourcing chemicals, selected consumables and negotiating pricing from suppliers in the most efficient way, while meeting our technical requirements. To ensure chemicals are available for re-sale and for manufacturing items in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, with knowledge of chemical structures and terminology preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in chemical procurement preferred (3-5 years)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and time management skills
  • Task oriented self-starter that takes initiative to get things done
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Planning and organizing
  • Detail orientated
  • Reliable and dependable with a good work ethic
  • Works well within stipulated timelines and able to meet deadlines
  • Previous experience with FileMaker, ERP is an asset
    Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Working with finance on resolving invoice discrepancies
  • Working with Project Management in RFQs for construction and equipment related projects
  • Perform other duties and complete additional projects as assigned
