Description:

Job Description:The Cherwell Professional Services Consultant provides comprehensive support and expertise for Cherwell solutions. This role involves solutioning, software version upgrades, and system integration services to ensure optimal performance and integration of Cherwell systems within an organization. The consultant will work closely with IT and other agency divisions to deliver tailored solutions and ensure effective integration with various systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience with Cherwell software and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, including knowledge of Linux Server, HighBond, Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, and application integrations.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
  • Ability to develop and customize IT solutions according to organizational needs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Cherwell Software Upgrades:
  • Implement and manage Cherwell software upgrades as requested.
  • Ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption during upgrade processes.
  • Test upgrades to verify functionality and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Cherwell Solution Development:
  • Develop and customize Cherwell solutions to meet the specific needs of IT and other agency divisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and adjustments to Cherwell solutions as needed.
  • Integration of Linux Server CI Attributes:
  • Integrate Linux Server CI attributes, including data from CSV files, with the Cherwell Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Ensure accurate and efficient synchronization of Linux server data with Cherwell CMDB.
  • Integration of HighBond (or Other GRC Solution) CI Attributes:
  • Integrate HighBond or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution CI attributes with the Cherwell CMDB.
  • Facilitate data flow and synchronization between GRC solutions and Cherwell CMDB.
  • Integration of Cisco Prime CI Attributes:
  • Integrate Cisco Prime Network Devices CI attributes with the Cherwell CMDB.
  • Manage and streamline data integration for network devices.
  • Integration of SolarWinds CI Attributes:
  • Integrate SolarWinds Server/Network Devices CI attributes with the Cherwell CMDB.
  • Ensure comprehensive data integration and accuracy for server and network devices.
  • Integration of Application CI Attributes:
  • Integrate application CI attributes from various sources, including CSV files, with the Cherwell CMDB.
  • Manage and ensure accurate integration of diverse application data into the Cherwell CMDB.
  • IT Configuration Management Process Development:
  • Develop and implement IT Configuration Management processes to enhance the management of IT assets and configurations.
  • Provide guidance and best practices for effective configuration management.
