Description:

The Marketing Officer post is a key element of the CCEP and is funded by Arts Council England.
Your role is to grow awareness and participation in the partnership, understand the perspectives of its members and to ensure that strong links are maintained between the partners. Although this role will need you to visit activities, artists and partner organisations, you also have office space provided in a community co-working space at Monkey Park Works (in Brampton, Chesterfield).
The Marketing Officer will support the Coordinator, the core partnership team and the Barrow Hill Community Trust board of trustees in ensuring that the partnership thrives, is sustainable and creates maximum positive social impact.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

We are looking for a person that is:

  • A creative person who can bring fresh thinking on how to connect with people
  • A team worker who can work with the core partnership group and wider partners including community organisations, charities, artists, schools, youth groups and statutory authorities
  • A practical / organised individual who can help run small events & capture information & feedback
  • Capable with IT (online calls, documents, email & social media)
  • Committed to high standards of customer service

Responsibilities:

  • Building awareness of the partnership among the general public and potential partners (including local artists; schools; community groups, charities, voluntary & faith organisations; youth work organisations; local businesses; statutory organisations such as local authorities & NHS trusts).
  • Helping to grow the membership by understanding their needs and making sure that delivered activities & communications align with those needs.
  • Maintaining positive collaboration & communication relationships with other local groups such as the Health & Wellbeing Partnership and the Derbyshire Community Hubs Network
  • Producing marketing materials including posters, flyers, postcards and online materials
  • Maintaining the website and social media of the partnership
  • Helping to run community events with partners
