DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Collage education or equivalent experience
  • Experience required by position is from one to three years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other Organization.
  • Requires a working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and/or NIIF
  • Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications.
  • Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment. Plus: If you have knowledge of systems such as Opera/Birchstreet/SUN/Micros
  • Excellent English and Spanish (Preferred) language.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform with accuracy and timeliness all accounting and financial reporting, books and records. (30%)
  • Guide income auditor to ensure an effective internal control and safeguard the assets and resources of the hotel. (20%)
  • Ensure monthly bank reconciliations, cash counts of all issued banks, including the general cashier, and reporting any discrepancies to the Director of Finance. (10%)
  • Analyze and provide control over balance sheet and P&L accounts and assist in internal and external audits. (10%)
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in Embark. (10%)
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)
  • Accurately record and check all sales revenues and settlement transactions in a timely fashion. (10%)
