POSITION: CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Summary: We are looking for a Chief Accountant to manage financial operations across multiple regions, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in multinational environments, financial management, and ERP systems, with a proven track record in driving financial growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- 10+ years of experience in a multinational environment in a similar role.
- Proven successful experience in establishing start-up companies and driving their financial growth.
- Demonstrated track record as a Chief Accountant or Finance Manager in companies managing multi-currency payment systems.
- Strong leadership skills and a flexible team-player mindset to effectively navigate challenges and uncertainties.
- Proactive and results-driven with a hands-on attitude, showcasing creativity, decisiveness, and a business-focused approach.
- Experience working in public companies is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and an in-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures and accounting regulations.
- Established connections with key financial partners and institutions, including management and decision-makers.
- Proficiency in MD365 (experience with additional modules is an advantage).
- IPO experience is a valuable asset.
- Familiarity with multi-country business operations is a plus.
- Higher Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Hands-on approach with a focus on driving tangible results.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of a second language is a plus.

Responsibilities:
As Chief Accountant at INOI the official responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Manage and control all financial-related activities of the company across multiple regions/countries, ensuring consistency with corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement region-specific financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards in compliance with both local and international regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Assist in the development of corporate strategy and formulate long-term business plans, providing recommendations to the CEO/Chairman and executive management team.
- Assess investment risks for new projects and initiatives, providing recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
- Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, preparing monthly reports on profit and loss, and comparing forecast versus budget outcomes.
- Lead cash flow planning processes, monitoring, interpreting, and predicting future cash flow trends to maintain financial stability.
- Ensure proper identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory or legal requirements.
- Oversee key accounting functions such as cost and revenue allocation, accounts receivable and payable, and consolidation and closing, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Oversee the implementation and management of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, preparing and submitting VAT returns, and managing corporate tax filings in line with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines.
- Transfer cost accountability and control across various departments, promoting efficient resource allocation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including the preparation and submission of transfer pricing documentation in accordance with UAE tax law.
- Implement, oversee, and optimize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) to streamline financial and operational processes, ensuring smooth integration across departments to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
- Provide training and support to teams to enhance the effective utilization of ERP systems, addressing any system-related issues to improve business operations.
- Work closely with IT and other business stakeholders to ensure ERP functionalities are aligned with business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company agreements, including legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, and ensure alignment with financial standards.
- Conduct internal audits, liaise with external auditors, and improve audit processes to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and effective risk management.
