Description:
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with professional accounting qualifications recognized in Poland (e.g., Chartered Accountant or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within a technology or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations specific to Poland and the EU.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision; capable of directing and supervising.
- Strong analytical capabilities for creating detailed financial reports and cost analysis.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, adept at team management and internal communication.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities:
- Supervision over maintaining the full accounting of the company, including tax settlements.
- Full responsibility for the accounting books, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements.
- Implement and uphold internal control policies and procedures for accounting transactions and budgetary control.
- Responsibility for developing and maintaining a chart of accounts in accordance with specified reporting standards, controlling requirements, and tax law.
- Responsibility for the procedure of reconciling balances with contractors, reconciling asset inventories of the company.
- Supervision over the proper circulation of accounting documents.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.
- Implementation and supervision of the correctness of tax settlements.
- Preparation of declarations for the tax office: JPK, VAT, CIT, and other required ones.
- Accounting settlements in the scope of withholding tax, intra-Community acquisition of goods and services, import-export
- Preparation of financial statements according to the Accounting Act **IFRS.
- Formal-legal and accounting control of accounting documents.
- Coordinate and lead annual audits; refine systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
- Contacting and cooperating with external institutions (Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution, Central Statistical Office).
- Prepare and propose budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with various departments.
- Serve as a financial advisor to senior management, providing recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
- Responsibility for the process of annual financial statement audit and tax audits
- Monitoring changes in legal regulations (e.g., customs duties and import charges), analyzing their effects on the Company, implementing or recommending appropriate solutions, and adjusting the company’s tax strategy accordingly.
