Who we are looking for
The role will be part of the SSGM SSBI management team and will be responsible for aiding the coordination and management of essential business activities to ensure all business functions are efficiently productive and well controlled from a risk perspective. The role will also manage the internal/external governance requirements for SSGM SSBI. They must be a strong analytical thinker, have the ability to communicate to senior management and have a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding SSBI. The role will be based in a location with an existing Global Markets footprint within SSBI.

What you will be responsible for
As part of the Continental European Chief Administration Officer team for State Street Global Markets, this position will be responsible for assisting in overseeing the administration of this business structure. The role will be focused on the completion of a variety of activities and projects, including:
- Drive and support management reporting and submission of material for various committees and forums
- Strengthen the collaboration and coordination between the various FLOD, SMEs, Compliance, Risk, and Legal teams
- Assist in responding to FLOD, SLOD, audit or third party requests for governance information and documents
- Key member of ongoing SSBI Global Markets Transformation project team, and leading substreams to conclusion both for run-the-bank and grow-the-bank initiatives
- Participate as a representative of the local business unit in regional or global working groups as required
- Proactively identify and contribute to the evolution of CAO initiatives to ensure best practice, to meet the changing requirements of our constantly changing business, to improve efficiency, and to reduce risk
