ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Chief AI/ML Officer, your mission is to elevate SafetyCulture’s innovation landscape by crafting and executing an AI driven strategy that has the power to revolutionise the way frontline teams work. Reporting directly to the CTO/CEO you’ll drive SafetyCulture’s evolution, steering us into a new era of growth and innovation while shaping the industry and impacting millions globally.
Our customers have entrusted us with over 5 petabytes of data and 4 billion images, which make up the largest repository of workplace inspection data in the world. We need you to help us harness this amazing data set to drive actionable insights and create predictive models.
You’ll spearhead the exploration, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technology and software. Your leadership will forge a high-performing team, build strategic partnerships, and uphold top-tier data quality and security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement an innovative strategy that aligns with SafetyCulture’s mission and goals, prioritising AI and ML projects to revolutionise frontline operations.
  • Cultural Architect: Build and nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation, and openness across teams at all levels, creating a cohesive unit focused on delivering excellence and value to our customers.
  • AI and Machine Learning Development : Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI and ML models using SafetyCulture’s extensive data sets and drive adoption of AI and ML technologies across the organisation
  • Growth and Scalability: Lead initiatives that not only optimise current processes but also scale our technological capabilities to meet current milestones and future demands.
  • Customer Connection: Engage directly with our customer-facing teams and users to extract valuable insights and align our product development with real-world needs and expectations, ensuring our technology solves critical problems effectively.
  • Commercial Strategy: Leverage your technical expertise to direct projects that maximise ROI and contribute significantly to our business growth.
  • Data Management and Analytics:Leverage data analytics, turning actionable insights and predictive models for anticipating workplace trends and risks.
