ABOUT THE ROLE

As Chief Architect at Bauer Media Group, you will play a key role within our Technology Leadership Team, leading the architecture function across our Audio, Publishing and Enterprise domains. You will guide a team of talented solution and enterprise architects, fostering close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to ensure Bauer’s technology landscape is optimized to support our strategic objectives.
In this position, you will serve as the chair of Bauer’s Architecture Community, shaping and overseeing group-wide architecture standards, principles, and guidelines. You will ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals, driving growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and Maintain Architecture Standards: Develop and enforce architecture principles, guidelines, and templates that promote consistency, quality, and innovation throughout our technology environment.
• Lead Architecture Governance: Work closely with leadership teams at both group and business unit levels to ensure effective architecture governance and foster collaboration across the organization.
• Drive Technology Strategy and Roadmaps: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Technology Strategy and roadmaps, ensuring Bauer is positioned to leverage emerging technologies and drive transformative results.
• Translate Business Needs into Technology Solutions: Mentor and support your team in translating strategic business needs into effective, scalable technology solutions, while fostering continuous growth and development among team members.
• Lead a Distributed Team: Guide and manage a team of Enterprise and Solution Architects, building a collaborative community of practice that aligns with Bauer’s strategic vision.
