JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at USAV will lead the commercial strategy, partnerships, and revenue generation efforts to grow volleyball’s presence publicly, commercially, and in participation across the U.S. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will be pivotal in executing the organization’s vision to establish volleyball as a premier national sport. Tasked with overseeing agency relationships, data-driven initiatives, and a comprehensive ecosystem for revenue growth, the CCO will strategically drive impactful results on and off the court. Cross departmental support is expected of all positions. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends and holidays. This position may be eligible for a remote work arrangement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, operations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of executive-level experience managing commercial operations, with a successful history in sports or a related industry.
- Strong experience working with data, technology, and modern marketing practices to support growth.
- A proven history of leadership, including managing teams and reporting to executive boards, with experience in large-scale strategic initiatives preferred.
- Proven track record in driving commercial growth within a complex sports organization or equivalent ecosystem.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and a strong understanding of technology, data harvesting, and business intelligence.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to cultivate high-value partnerships.
- Highly effective organizational and project management abilities, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for public and partner-facing interactions.
- Ability to work dynamically and collaboratively within a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment.
- Willingness to take ownership, embrace accountability, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
- Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
- Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date. Training must be maintained throughout employment.
Salary: $225,000 - $250,000.
