JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate with three years’ experience
  • Strong public relation and organizational skills
  • Experience managing teams of 15 or more would be an asset

Responsibilities:

This position is essential in the growth of the Process and Power Engineering program as well as Steam Lab extension programs. It is a critical component in Lakeland College’s endeavor to become a Centre of Excellence for Energy training. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for coordination of operations, maintenance, and turnaround required to obtain and maintain government approval, maintain curriculum standards, and ensure an excellent experience for Lakeland College students.
