The newest addition to the Sir Hotels family and Sircle Collection’s inaugural property in the historic city center, opening soon, will be situated near the picturesque Vltava River. Our boutique hotel will showcase 76 meticulously designed rooms, a delightful library, a boutique Spa, state-of-the-art fitness amenities, and the acclaimed Seven North restaurant.
As our Chief Engineer, you’ll be joining our team to nurture and grow this unique property. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fulfilling our brand promise and embodying our brand values by providing heartfelt service, leading with creativity and ambition, as well as creating surprising experiences for our teams members, and guests every step of the way.
This Is What You Will Be Doing
As our Chief Engineer, you will set up the Engineering function within our preopening hotel and manage one Engineer. You will provide guidance and support throughout various projects and ensuring that we are adhering to high engineering standards and best practices.
Together with our Engineer, you will oversee the maintenance and operation of all engineering systems and equipment within the hotel. You will report into our General Manager and collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members. You will also be responsible in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of our assets. In addition to this, you will manage the engineering budget, procurement, and foster vendor relationships for engineering-related services.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Engineering Manager/ Assistant Manager in a similar hotel, having preopening experience will be advantageous. As our Chief Engineer, we would require the person to have technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other relevant systems as well as good knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements.
Our Chief Engineer will be a person who is able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and have a hands-on approach to resolve engineering challenges. As we are currently in our hotel’s preopening phase, the successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic preopening environment.
