HOW WILL I HELP?
The Financial Markets Technology Team currently provides technology services in trading across FX and Debt Markets product set. This capability applies across the bank’s customer base, 7 x 24 hours a day.
The Financial Markets Technology team is now recruiting for a Chief Engineer to lead the existing Traded Risk technology team, with responsibly for Market Risk and Counterparty Credit risk systems and facing off to the Financial Markets and Risk businesses.
This role will require managing the traded risk portfolio and team, as well as driving technology strategy in the risk space and your key responsibilities are:
- Delivery of the in-flight Market Risk Application Replacement project.
- Strategy and delivery of an ambitious program of simplification on Counterparty Credit Risk systems.
- Upcoming upgrades of multiple platforms.
- Vendor management of existing platform suppliers and partners.
- Driving excellence in change execution and uplifting engineering practices and delivery.
- Managing costs and providing dedicated leadership and workforce strategy for the existing team of approximately 60.
