Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
SeedMaster Manufacturing Ltd. is looking for a growth-oriented leader who’s excited to join an experienced and collaborative senior executive team as Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SeedMaster Manufacturing Ltd. will lead the organization in achieving its strategic objectives and operational goals.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for SeedMaster’s overall management, growth, and profitability, ensuring alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and values.
The CEO role at SeedMaster is central to drive strategic and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include leading strategic planning and overseeing short- and long-term strategic plans, managing profit and loss (P&L) and driving revenue growth, directing new product development and ensuring operational efficiency, advancing staff expertise and leveraging technology effectively, managing stakeholder relationships and fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Certificate-level training in one or more continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TQM, Kaizen, etc.) is an asset.
- Proven track record in strategic business development, P&L ownership, and scaling manufacturing operations.
- Proven senior leadership experience in agriculture manufacturing or related sectors.
- Strong financial knowledge and experience in managing complex industrial operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with different stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to drive a culture of innovation, high performance and continuous improvement in a competitive market environment.
- Ability to understand and optimize team resources to achieve planned results within a high-performance and team-building environment.
- Ability to engage in domestic and international travel (estimated at 10-25%).
