Description:
DESCRIPTION
St. Vincent’s University Hospital, which is a member of the St Vincent’s Healthcare Group, is one of Ireland’s leading hospitals and plays a key role in the provision of world class healthcare on its integrated multi-hospital campus. Our focus is to provide excellence in clinical care, education and research. We have a world class healthcare team across over 50 different medical specialties, and a culture that empowers innovation, creativity and learning in a clinical setting. We are undergoing significant change, growth and development and are seeking a dynamic individual with the necessary drive, communication and senior management skills to lead the Hospital through this exciting phase.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
The CEO will lead the Hospital and the Executive Management Team in its on-going mission to provide and deliver world class medical services and care in an innovative and patient focused environment. This role is primarily operationally focused but will also require the development of strategic plans and initiatives to drive continual improvement throughout the Hospital and the Healthcare Group. It also involves responsibility for the provision and allocation of the necessary resources to deliver patient services.
Candidates should have a third level or professional qualification, and have demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills in a large and complex operational environment. Experience in the healthcare sector, while desirable, is not essential. Excellent communication and people management skills are vital, as is a proven track record in change management.
