Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.
THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters in in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in family services, with at least 10 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of family systems, child development, and community resources.
• Proven ability to develop and manage programs and budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission and vision, with a passion for supporting families and children.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Chief of Family Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all family support programs and services within the organization. This individual will develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive family service programs designed to support and enhance the well-being of families and children. The Chief of Family Services will work closely with government agencies, community partners, staff, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, effective service delivery and to promote THKMC’s mission and vision.
