Responsibilities:

Reporting to the CEO the CFO role is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of financial management, the CFO will play a pivotal role in the operational performance and strategic development of the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance team
  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the senior leadership and executive management team
  • Managing the financial controls processes across the company, including those for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning including cash flow
  • Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of fully audited accounts; liaison of external audit teams, and submission in line with statutory guidelines.
  • Undertake budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activity for the company and subsidiaries
  • Maintain financial performance models and forecasts for short (6 months), medium (18months) and long term planning
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop performance measures that support individual project performance and company’s strategic direction
  • Lead change management initiatives to drive organisational transformation and continuous improvement
  • Support the implementation of an ERP system
  • Assist bid & proposal writing and structuring financial elements of contract offers.
  • Provide financial modelling support to customers for contracted work.
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • Review and approve all business tax documentation and returns
  • Report financial results to the board of directors
  • Maintain up to date financial management information
