REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive Financial Leadership Experience: 10-15 years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in technology, AI, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Strategic Partnership: Proven experience as a strategic partner to CEOs and executive teams.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Expertise in developing risk management frameworks and ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Board Engagement & Governance: Experience presenting to Boards of Directors and supporting governance processes.
  • Operational Leadership: Experience leading finance, IT, and administrative functions, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Amii is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive growth, sustainability, and strategic impact. The CFO will ensure financial strategies are aligned with our mission of leveraging AI to create a positive and lasting societal impact, while also overseeing the IT and administration departments to ensure smooth, efficient operations across the organization. This position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in financial leadership, risk management, and operational excellence across multiple functions.

The role focuses on achieving excellence in five principal accountabilities:

  • Financial Accuracy & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring transparency and supporting decision-making.
  • Capital & External Relationships Management: Cultivate relationships with financial institutions and manage capital needs to support operational growth.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Board Liaison & Reporting: Serve as the primary financial liaison to the Board of Directors, delivering actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • People Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor the finance, IT, and administration teams to achieve high performance and foster a collaborative culture.
