Job Description: As the Finance Director at Trade Mastermind, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s operations. You will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership to the finance team.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
2. Manage financial, budgeting, cashflow and forecasting processes.
3. Monitor financial performance and analyse key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
4. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.
6. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
7. Collaborate with other departments to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company’s assets and reputation.
9. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the company’s financial performance.
Qualifications:
10. Proven experience in a senior finance role
11. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
12. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
13. Deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
14. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making.
15. Proficiency in Xero financial software and Microsoft Excel.
16. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
