On annual basis, Riwald recycles several hundred thousand tonnages of waste materials - varying from electrical household equipment, industrial high-quality residual flows to complete trains and airplanes. Riwald is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), based in Netherlands (Almelo). In this role the CFO reports to the CEO of Riwald BV, Netherlands.

The CFO will be responsible for developing, leading and implementing finance strategy to enable the company to grow, thrive and maintain a healthy financial position within the marketplace. Manages and coordinates the company’s financial function across the regions covering the two main areas of finance:

• Compliance: accounting, credit management, Vat & tax, policies & procedures, internal and external audit
• Business partnering: multi-year plans, financing, budgeting, performance management, supporting post-acquisition integration

This will be achieved by partnering with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ArcelorMittal BD Recycling, local CEO and local finance team in shared service function.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND MISSIONS:

• Managing financial performance and supporting cluster management and entity CEOs with the economic and financial analyses required necessary for operational and strategic management.
• Business Partnering the ArcelorMittal BD Recycling CFO & local CEO on operational and strategic financial management
• To determine the company’s operating results on a monthly basis (accounts closing, management indicators, cost control, etc.)
• Alignment of forecasting results (drawing up the annual budget and objectives, updating monthly forecasts, monitoring variances, etc. with BD CEO and BD CFO
• Implementing and ensuring the correct application of accounting and financial procedures of the ArcelorMittal group in close cooperation with Shared Service Function Accounting
• Steering the risk management process: internal control, external control across all relevant entities
• Supervise the customer credit team in applying the customer credit and collection policy
• Coordinating & managing payroll processes
