Description:

Our client is an innovative fintech startup specialising in payments and mobile wallet solutions. They are looking for a strategic and dynamic CFO to drive their financial strategy and growth.

REQUIREMENTS

The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, strategy, and planning. This role requires a visionary leader with deep experience in financial management, strategic planning, and capital allocation in a fast-paced startup environment - the individual must have prior experience in the UAE.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role, preferably in a fintech startup.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Relevant finance or accounting degree (CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and operational goals.
  • Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Manage financial risks and ensure the company’s financial health through effective risk management and control measures.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including identifying potential investors, preparing pitch materials, and negotiating terms.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team to guide business decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
