EXIT/SALE EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record in managing the exit or sale of a company valued at over $500 million, including structuring of the business, due diligence, understanding the critical requirements, and assembling and leading the team to execute a successful transaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years experience in US CPG regulated category
  • 10+ years of P&L responsibility
  • Extensive consumable CPG experience in U.S. convenience, with demonstrable history of success in US multi channel strategic planning and strategic implementation achieving exponential breakout growth through growing POD and VPO profitability.
  • Experience and strong relationships in food, drug, large format retail, fitness, and natural.
  • Previous hyper-growth company experience >5% per month, 100% per year, building the leadership teams to make the growth possible.
  • Experience and clear skill set for navigating Founder/CEO vision execution dynamics.
  • Experience growing and leading companies to a strategic exit/divestiture.
  • Track record of and framework for establishing, maintaining, and increasing industry leading profitability
  • Strong references from founders that attest to your leadership, integrity, accountability, and ability to align and build trust.
  • Strong desire to make a positive difference and make the world a better place.
  • A demonstrable high level of skill in people management and rapid best in class talent acquisition at rapid pace.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to travel and/or engage as needed with founders and other business partners.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a vital strategic partner to the CEO, tasked with driving enterprise-wide growth and overseeing the business from a holistic perspective. This role involves shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy, building the global brand, and leading innovations to achieve substantial revenue growth and market expansion. The CGO will leverage transformative leadership and extensive experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) general management to scale profitable brands. They will utilize data-driven insights to meet ambitious growth targets and enhance future capabilities, applying expertise from hyper growth environments to develop aggressive revenue-driving strategies across diverse brands and market segments, including established companies and start-up incubations in food, dietary supplements, and beverages. Additionally, the CGO will utilize omni-channel expertise to drive substantial business growth and sustain a 50% year-over-year increase. The role also requires a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, working closely with the executive team to ensure compliance, drive market expansion, enhance consumer engagement, and identify new growth opportunities.
