SUMMARY

The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of Watson Clinic, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation/benefits. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive human resources strategy that is aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Lead the Clinic’s recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives to ensure access to top talent;
  • Manage the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to support human resources operations and maximize efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Ensure all HR functions are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices;
  • Oversee the Clinic’s Team Member and Physician benefits programs, to include cost effectiveness while meeting the ever-changing needs of participants.
  • Oversee the Clinic’s performance management program including providing guidance and support to managers on performance reviews and disciplinary action;
  • Develop, implement and maintain the Clinic’s compensation program to attract and retain talent;
  • Develop and maintain positive team member relations by providing guidance and support to team members and managers. Enhance team member engagement, thereby improving productivity and retention;
  • Oversee the Clinic Education department to ensure compliance and staff development;
  • Oversee the Employee Health program, including Workers’ Compensation and injury prevention.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is preferred;
  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university in business, healthcare management, human resources, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of HR experience, with at least five years at the senior manager/director level or above;
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification is a plus.
