Chief Marketing Officer
Position Overview:
As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Net Pacific Group, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and partnership strategies to drive enrollment growth, enhance brand visibility, and achieve organizational objectives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, leadership, and a deep understanding of the ESL and career college education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with the institution’s goals and target market.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and student preferences.
  • Define marketing objectives, KPIs, and budgets to guide marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Management:
  • Develop and maintain a robust institutional brand image and ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, website content, social media presence, and advertising materials to communicate the institution’s value proposition effectively.
  • Monitor brand perception and make necessary adjustments to enhance brand reputation.
  • Enrollment Growth:
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to attract prospective students, focusing on domestic and international markets.
  • Collaborate with admissions and recruitment teams to optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion strategies.
  • Utilize various marketing channels, such as digital advertising, social media, SEO, email marketing, events, and partnerships, to drive enrollment growth.
  • Digital Marketing and Analytics:
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, search engine marketing, social media advertising, and content marketing.
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance using key metrics and analytics tools.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Public Relations and Communication:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, educational organizations, and key stakeholders to enhance the institution’s visibility.
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns, press releases, and events to generate positive media coverage.
  • Ensure effective internal and external communication channels to keep students, faculty, and staff informed about marketing initiatives.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with other departments to align marketing strategies with overall institutional goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a marketing leader in the education industry, preferably within ESL or career college settings.
  • Strong understanding of the education markets (Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, ASEAN countries, Europe, and LATAM), including trends, challenges, and student recruitment strategies.
  • Proficient in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Creativity, innovation, and a passion for education.
