Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed to practice medicine in California.
- An active member of the medical staff, practices in the field of pediatrics.
- Physician, Board-certificated Pediatric/Pediatric Sub specialty, Informatics.
- 10 years of clinical and/or technology and information management leadership experience.
- Experience in clinical systems and process re-design.
- Working knowledge of clinical information systems.
- A clinician who can gain the respect and trust of the medical staff.
- A strong leader with a mature sense of priorities and solid practical experience to implement the vision for the organization.
- Possesses political savvy and has a high tolerance for ambiguity.
- Has excellent verbal, presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Is able to handle a diversity of personalities and interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, capable of relating to diverse age and demographic backgrounds.
- An assertive leader who has the ability to work collaboratively, influencing decisions and outcomes, facilitating consensus.
- A systems thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative, practical recommendations and solutions.
- Highly skilled at needs assessment, problem solving and solutions design, facilitation of project implementation, and organizational change or development.
- Track record demonstrates success with process improvement initiatives.
- A creative thinker with high energy and enthusiasm.
- Knowledge of clinical workflow in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
