Take responsibility with other executive directors for the quality of service and care provided to patients, leadership of the workforce, the strategic direction of theorganisation, achievement of performance and financial sustainability, maintain external relationships with partner Take corporate responsibility for the management of the chief nurses directorateand provide professional leadership to divisional nurse directors ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality services across NNUH Fulfil statutory responsibilities as a Board member so that NNUH adheres to national policy and practice in all the post holders key areas of responsibility Continually ensure effective communication of NNUH objectives and plans whilst supporting an active agenda of workforce engagement and patient involvement Working closely with the Medical Director, support the development of the research and quality of care agenda for the Trust Provide professional advice to the Chief Executive and Board of Directors nursing, midwifery, AHP and volunteer workforce issue
