Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: MSN or related healthcare master’s degree is required. Preferred: Certification in nursing administration or commitment to complete certification.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
- ARNP or DNP strongly preferred
- Five years of progressively more responsible management experience with demonstrated results in improving performance.
- Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting required, with experience as a Chief Nursing Officer desired.
License(s)/Certification(s): RN license in the state of Iowa
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Articulates views in a manner that promotes effective partnerships and cohesive working relationships among health care team.
- Demonstrates business acumen in human resource management, strategic planning and marketing decisions to enhance patient care decisions.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Forward thinking, creative and innovative in developing new services and processes to improve both access to care and service to patients.
- Serves as the role model for professional nurses and demonstrates exceptional customer service.
