Job Description

A Chief of Staff will be a key strategic partner to CNS General Manager and Leadership Team. The essential functions will be to oversee and implement strategic initiatives, manage operational efficiency and workflow. The primary duties include implementing and facilitating communication between departments and ensuring delivery of initiatives as per set timelines. The responsibility will also include driving operational efficiency and effectiveness through process improvement and development initiatives.

  • Strategic Partner to the GM: Collaborate closely with the GM and senior leadership to drive the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with the overall business objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead high-priority initiatives and special projects, providing oversight to ensure timely execution and successful delivery.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Improve communication across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and facilitating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze organizational performance metrics, identifying areas for operational improvement, and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Vendor and Partnership Management: Enhance relationships with key technology vendors and partners to drive innovation and new business opportunities, ensuring that partnerships support CNS’s market growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Work with internal teams to maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Change Management: Support and manage the adoption of new systems, technologies, and processes within the organization to streamline operations and drive transformation initiatives.
  • Business Reporting and Strategy: Oversee the creation of business performance reports and ensure that business units align with the company’s long-term goals and financial targets.
  • Implementation of Group Initiatives: Work closely with leadership to ensure that all group-wide initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented across CNS’s business units.
  • Leadership Team Support: Prepare agendas and materials for leadership meetings, ensuring effective follow-up and execution on strategic priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: Bachelor in Business Administration, Management, IT or a related field
  • Desired: Master’s in Business Administration, Management, IT or a related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience of 5+ years in a senior management role working with executive-level stakeholders and having a successful track record in strategic planning and project management.
  • Proactive and dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with senior executives to drive business initiatives forward.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial and operational data
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive change.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality, with a commitment to maintaining ethical standards.
  • Good knowledge of Business and Operating model with a background of P&L.
