EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of experience in a strategic, operational, or project management role, preferably within a professional services industry.
  • Experience leading and influencing others and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working closely with C-suite executives, understanding their needs, and providing strategic support to drive organizational objectives.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, with a strong business acumen.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Comfortable and confident representing the SVP at meetings, engagements, internal functions.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, GenAI tools, project management tools, and data analysis software.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality: Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Strategy, Product & Innovation team.
  • Lead and facilitate internal and external discussions with senior leaders and team members of the Strategy, Product & Innovation Division to establish strategic plans and objectives, identify strategic needs and prioritize areas of focus aligned with the overall Symcor 5-year strategic roadmap and annual strategic planning deliverables.
  • Support the Strategy, Product & Innovation executive in the execution of their mandate through the identification and implementation of systems, processes and initiatives.
  • Support Senior Leadership Team in meeting their objectives by working as a representative and liaison with key functional groups: sales, IT, marketing, finance, etc.
  • Provide support to the SVP and their VPs/teams and cross functional integration teams to ensure seamless operations within the division, acting as the ‘glue’ to this portfolio.
  • Facilitate collaboration and achievement of shared objectives and deliverables across the Strategy, Product and Innovation division.
