AgeCare is looking for a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations and drive our mission of providing exceptional, compassionate care for our residents and their families. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will play a pivotal role in shaping AgeCare’s future and ensuring we remain a trusted, innovative leader in long-term care.
As COO, you’ll work closely with our Executive Operations Team, guiding strategic initiatives that bring AgeCare’s mission, vision, and values to life. You’ll lead with purpose and integrity, fostering a culture that prioritizes trust, respect, quality, and teamwork. From optimizing processes and advancing strategic goals to building relationships with provincial health authorities, your impact will be felt across every facet of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Drive AgeCare’s competitive edge in senior care, collaborating with the CEO to set and achieve strategic goals.
  • Cultivate a culture rooted in ethical practices, customer focus, and operational excellence.
  • Build and execute high-impact growth and performance strategies.
  • Operational Excellence and Innovation
  • Lead continuous improvements, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and manage business processes that improve quality of service, resource allocation, and financial performance.
  • Financial Oversight
  • Partner with the CEO and CFO to establish budgets, track performance, and optimize financial health across all sites.
  • Identify capital improvements to boost profitability, reduce costs, and drive revenue growth.
  • Performance and Quality Metrics
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on customer satisfaction, quality, and financial success.
  • Ensure teams are aligned and accountable to meet these metrics.
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Build, inspire, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with external stakeholders and drive collaborative initiatives that enhance resident care.
