JOB PURPOSE OVERVIEW
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for arranging the company’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all departments.
The COO will work closely with owners, CEOs and other board members to develop and drive operational strategy, improve processes, and enhance client satisfaction.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the overall financial success of the company, starting from formulating the company strategy (in collaboration with owners, CEOs and board members) to effectively executing it on operational and tactical levels. This includes analyzing and measuring performance metrics, cross-functional collaboration with departments and stakeholders, continuous process optimization, and maintaining a constant focus on areas of potential growth or issues to be prevented or fixed.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tech industry, strong leadership and management skills, experience in profitable coordination of various company departments (marketing, sales, production, central cervices etc.) and a proven track record of operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s strategy, goals and objectives. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team in implementation of the company’s strategy, taking responsibility for driving company growth and profitability through development, implementation, monitoring, control and reporting on the results of operational measures applied.
- Operational Management: Drive and manage regular daily operations of the company, including project management, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, with constant monitoring and measurement of key metrics at the necessary levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and quality. Lead initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Team Leadership: Build, lead, mentor and manage a high-performing team. Foster culture of collaboration, diversity, innovation and high performance
- Client Relations: Ensure efficient and effective delivery of testing services to clients through well organized operational processes, which reflects also in high clients’ satisfaction rates (NPS >8,5) and annual growth of contracts (25%). Addressing any client related operational issues promptly.
- Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
