REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of proven management experience as a chief operating officer, head of / director of operations or similar role in Asset Management or Hedge Fund Business
• University graduated in Accounting, Finance or related field
• In-depth knowledge of industry including risk management, tax structuring, compliance and regulatory requirements
• In-depth understand of accounting principles including budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow and capital planning management
• Strong strategic leadership ability, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel
• Fluent in English and Mandarin

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to oversee our company’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions in our Singapore office. The post will be responsible for corporate financial and strategic planning, business and budget development, and analysis to support the organization’s corporate goals and strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee the overall operations of our Singapore office, foster a collaborative culture to ensure efficient allocation of resources and alignment with the fund’s strategic goal
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the funds’ overall objectives and investment strategies
• Implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and streamline workflows, optimize resources allocation and reduce operational risk
• Manage relationships with external service providers and vendors ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness
• Keep up to date with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices to maintain compliance and minimize legal risks
• Prepare and monitor cash flow, budget, financial reporting and expense management
• Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures
• Meet key shareholders and potential investors for pitching and fund-raising
