Job Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the daily operation of the company, ensuring that all business functions are efficient and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other executives to implement business strategies and optimize the company’s operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to department heads, ensuring efficient and effective operations across all departments.
  • Process improvement: Identify areas and for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Performance monitoring: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Budget management: Oversee the development and management of the company’s budget, ensuring financial efficiency and sustainability.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Risk management: Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity and stability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in operations, products and services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulators.

What we look for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; or MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Proven track record of successful business operations management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the fintech industry and market trends.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
