JOB DESCRIPTION:
Fathom’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, drives strategic initiatives, and ensures the successful execution of our business goals. Fathom’s COO is a world leading expert in core catastrophe modelling technology, particularly in developing analytics tools, and has a deep understanding of the risk management industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the company’s operational functions, including product development, customer success, and technology infrastructure.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s vision and
business objectives.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality of service.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within a technology company.
- Expertise in developing and managing analytics tools, preferably in the insurance
industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and business growth.
- PhD in relevant modelling field.
