Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Chief Platform Engineer in the Chief Platform Engineer Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
SUMMARY:
The role involves managing and leading the Engineering technical content for a designated platform, ensuring all programmes are delivered to cost, time, quality, and legal requirements. The ideal candidate would be responsible to ensure all Engineering departments achieve gateway deliverables.

Responsibilities:
- Understanding the voice of the customer, working with the product strategy team and Attributes, to deliver products, in line with corporate DNA, market strategy and business requirements.
- Target setting, VTS management, benchmarking, planning and overall technical management of the project.
- Managing the Concept architecture, to ensure engineering compatibility on the exterior & interior releases, through the virtual series & through parallel work with the design & concepts team.
- Supporting the virtual series to ensure system selection and architecture align with product strategy.
- DVP management, reporting to the executive and ensuring target delivery and legal compliance.
