KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or similar scope.
  • Required: 10 years of experience in a Sr. Leadership position, driving and implementing revenue growth.
  • Required: Proven track record of growing revenue through new-product development, marketing, sales, branding, and partnerships
  • Required: Combined experience in B2B and B2C sales, marketing, and strategy development, with a strong background in SEO and digital marketing
  • Required: Experience in driving retail products through targeted marketing efforts, leveraging analytics to optimize product performance, and developing go-to-market strategies to reach diverse customer segments and drive revenue growth
  • Required: Significant experience in P&L supervision
  • Required: Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach
  • Preferred: Experience in sales and marketing roles of a seasonal nature.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow. Lead, manage, and hold accountable a world class marketing and sales team. Open up new paths to revenue and build the people and processes to get there. Expand market share, gain new assets, and improve product offerings.
  • Align. Get everyone to row in the same direction, from peers in the C-suite to teams across the company. Implement workflows cross-functionally to support collaboration and efficiency.
  • Plan for the future. Project confidence and steadiness. Utilize data-driven analytics, strategic visioning, and the best talent pool to get there. Routinely conduct market research that may include focus groups, surveys, competitor analysis, and creation of company personas.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities, providing competitive strategies and tactics. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Building and maintaining a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience.
  • Remain well-connected with customers to ensure that their needs are being factored into the product development and enhancement cycles. Analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the finance and product management teams on pricing strategies and business models for achieving revenue goals.
  • Lead the marketing team on messaging, driving growth across all customer segments, and improve strategy for the customer experience.
  • Identify and resolve issues across functions: marketing, sales, and account management.
  • Participate in contract negotiations.
  • Build and foster creative teams that are committed to our culture of innovation.
  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for seasonality and sustainable growth.
  • Perform risk analysis to identify potential challenges to the company’s profitability. Examples of risk include market changes, seasonality, asset liquidity, and government policies.
