SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

CareerBuilder and Monster are looking for a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead the combined sales of organization of our newly combined companies. We are looking for a leader who has extensive previous experience building, transforming, and managing successful sales organizations. Working in the marketplace between job seekers and employers, provides a unique opportunity to lead a high-growth business. The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be a crucial member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth and leading the company’s sales organization. This individual will develop and execute the company’s sales strategy, and build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. The CSO will work closely with other departments, including marketing, product, technology, and customer service, to drive business growth and opportunity.

INNOVATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

  • Drive innovation within the sales organization by continuously seeking ways to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency
  • Leverage data to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue
  • Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive sales leadership experience with the ability to inspire others and lead change
  • Successful track record in working in close collaboration with marketing, customer services, sales operations and product teams.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through the optimization of existing and creation of new sales channels, marketing, branding, and partnerships
  • Strong marketplace, media, B2B SaaS Enterprise sales growth and client retention experience.
  • Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
  • Experience negotiating 7 figure enterprise contracts
  • Successful experience managing a large team of employees including sales representatives, customer success managers, and leadership professionals

SYSTEM SKILLS

  • Robust Salesforce analysis, reporting, and forecasting skillset.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities unlocking multiple product opportunities.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth.
