We are seeking a Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO) to provide strategic leadership in all technical aspects of the business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen who is well-versed in the latest technological trends and experienced in applying these to business strategies.
The CTIO will define and oversee the vision for IT governance, technology strategy, platforms, and the long-term roadmap for infrastructure, security, IT solutions, and operations.
The CTIO will play a critical role in strategic decision-making and ensuring that technology is used efficiently, profitably, and securely to meet business objectives. This position requires leading an agile IT organization capable of supporting rapid growth and transformation.
The CTIO will also oversee the design and implementation of technology blueprints across the organization, ensuring high-quality delivery of IT services. The successful candidate will establish performance metrics (KPIs) for assessing new systems and infrastructure, while fostering a positive and innovative environment within the IT department. In addition to identifying and nurturing internal talent, the CTIO will also be responsible for recruiting top external candidates to meet growing business demands.
Responsibilities: Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals. Discover and implement new technologies that create a competitive advantage. Support all departments in leveraging technology to drive profitability. Oversee system infrastructure to ensure functionality, security, and efficiency. Build and maintain quality assurance and data protection processes. Monitor KPIs and manage IT budgets to assess technological performance. Use stakeholder feedback to drive technology improvements and adjustments. Communicate the technology strategy to partners, investors, and internal teams. Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external vendor relationships. Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and hiring decisions. Identify, compare, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs. Develop and control annual budgets for technology investments, staffing, and operations. Optimize infrastructure assets to meet internal financial targets. Establish technology standards and ensure adherence across the organization. Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics to ensure efficiency. Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture. Stay updated on new technological trends and best practices in the industry. Take initiative in innovation, creativity, and thought leadership. Partner closely with business leaders to identify and prioritize goals, and deliver new products or enhancements. Lead cross-functional collaboration to influence decisions at senior levels. Mentor and guide global technology teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; an MBA is a plus. Proven experience as a CIO, CTO, or similar leadership role. Extensive experience in developing enterprise-level technology roadmaps. Strong analytical skills, capable of translating strategic business decisions into measurable outcomes. Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, comfortable with ambiguity. Ability to distill complex issues into actionable plans and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking. Highly entrepreneurial, able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight. Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the latest trends. Familiarity with budgets, business planning, and financial management. Willingness to travel as needed.
