As we expand our offerings and enhance our infrastructure, we are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the company’s technology strategy and innovation. The CTO will be instrumental in aligning technical capabilities with our business goals, driving growth, and ensuring we remain a leader in the hosting and data center industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Expertise

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in senior technology roles, with at least 5 years managing technical teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VPN, VRF), data center technologies, and cloud platforms.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include JNCIP-DC, JNCIP-ENT, or JNCIP-SP.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Proven ability to align technology strategies with business objectives to drive growth and innovation.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and building a collaborative work culture.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to address complex technical challenges and implement scalable solutions.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to optimize operations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

The CTO will oversee ServerMania’s technology teams and infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and innovation. This strategic leader will serve as the bridge between business objectives and technical execution, guiding the company’s technological vision while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and improve customer experience.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, contributing to business planning, goal setting, and resource allocation.
  • Lead technology due diligence for potential partnerships, acquisitions, or new market opportunities.

Technical Expertise & Innovation

  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and secure IT infrastructure, including network architecture, cloud platforms, and data center operations.
  • Leverage expertise in routing, switching, and virtualization technologies (Juniper, Cisco, BGP, OSPF, KVM, VyOS) to optimize operations.
  • Drive automation initiatives using tools like Python, Ansible, and other network automation frameworks.

Team Leadership

  • Build and mentor high-performing technical teams, fostering innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the team stays updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks to evaluate team success.

Operational Excellence

  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize the company’s infrastructure budget while driving cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted service for clients.

Customer-Focused Initiatives

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop technical solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Lead client-facing technical discussions, positioning ServerMania as an innovative and reliable partner.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
