Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead our technology strategy at our fast-growing IT SaaS online courier startup. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, a strong academic background (excellent GPA), and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technology vision and strategy that aligns with our business objectives, ensuring robust infrastructure and security for our SaaS platform.
- Lead the engineering team in the development of highly scalable and reliable software applications, overseeing end-to-end software development processes.
- Collaborate with the executive team to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and assess their applicability to our business.
- Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement within the technology department.
- Build and manage high-performing teams, focusing on recruitment, development, mentorship, and retention of top talent.
- Ensure the integrity and security of our technology systems and data, implementing best practices in cybersecurity.
- Manage technology budgets, resource allocation, and vendor partnerships to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports to the executive team, outlining progress against technology goals, project status, and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong academic record (minimum GPA of 8.5).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles within the SaaS, logistics, or courier sectors.
- High energy level and passion for thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
- Extensive experience in software development, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity practices.
- Involved in details and hands on programmer
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and a problem-solving approach.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, coupled with a results-driven orientation.
