Responsible for carrying out business office and Registration and Billing procedures for the Child Care Program department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess high school diploma or GED. A 2-year degree or applicable experience is preferred.
  • Six months or more of related customer service and clerical experience required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides excellent service to program participants, their families, staff members, and other individuals.
  • Manages childcare billing accounts receivable through multiple forms of correspondence to participants.
  • Provides excellent telephone and member service while facilitating inbound/outbound calls.
  • Remains accountable for all monetary transactions on shift and appropriate reconciliation of these transactions.
  • Maintains Title Twenty (TXX) billing and authorizations.
  • Maintains all pertinent equipment and supplies.
  • Is familiar with child care information as outlined in the child care and parent handbooks.
  • Proactively solves problems.
  • Follows appropriate safety guidelines.
  • Communicates to direct supervisor any concerns or incidents that may need follow-up.
  • Protects confidential information regarding program participants, families and staff members.
  • Process Hourly Billing.
  • Process Approved Registrations within a timely manner.
  • Completes other tasks as assigned by Childcare Account and Registration Coordinator or Director of Call Center Operations.
