Childcare Club Assistant
Contract: Part Time / Permanent (9 hours per week / 37 weeks per year)
Salary: Grade 2 SP3/4 (FTE £22,737 to £23,114 / Actual £4,518 to £4,593)
Start date: As soon as possible
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our wraparound care team in ‘The Den,’ on Monday afternoons and occasional mornings and afternoons to provide cover. We provide wraparound care to our school community (ages 3-11) until 6pm each afternoon. We are looking to increase capacity for each session with an additional staff member.
The successful candidate will be a caring team player who has experience working with primary age children. Our Childcare Club Assistants provide support with daily reading homework, prepare and serve nutritious snacks, as well as plan and run engaging activities which include creative crafts, cooking and baking as well as outdoor games and activities. We will provide training and support from members of the senior leadership team. First Aid training will be provided.
