EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field; and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Children’s Program Manager at Catholic Charities:
- Program Development and Coordination: Develop, implement, and maintain children’s programming that fulfills the needs of the populations served at Marisol Homes and Samaritan House. This includes recruiting new programs, enhancing ongoing delivery, and maintaining community partnerships.
- Programming facilitator and Staff Management: Coordinate with volunteer coordinators to determine the number of volunteers needed for programming and special events. Periodically solicit feedback from programming facilitators and participants to assess satisfaction and explore additional opportunities. Oversee the hiring, training, and development of childcare supervisor, including specialty programs supporting a two-generation model of care.
- Best Practices and Policy Implementation: Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures regarding children’s programming and childcare services. Ensure that childcare at Marisol Homes and Samaritan House adheres to these standards.
- Childrens Programming Event Management and Feedback Collection: Manage all aspects of childrens programming events, from pre-planning to post-event follow-up. Engage in activities to solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to inform program improvements. Maintain and manage schedule of programming and manage communication to staff and participants.
- Monitor and oversee team budget: Oversee budget
- Creativity and Innovation: Use creativity and innovation in the development of programs and the delivery of services. Contribute to the overall vision and mission of the programs by participating in the creation and implementation of measurable goals and objectives.
- Organization and Timeliness: Maintain a high level of organization in managing multiple projects and responsibilities. Ensure timely and responsive communication and follow-up with team members, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders.
