Description:

To provide a comprehensive administrative role to support the Children’s Therapy services (Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy) including the monitoring and coordination of waiting lists; clinic maintenance; processing of new referrals; production of outgoing reports and letters; dealing with patient queries / concerns and working closely with internal stakeholders such as the Operations Manager, Children’s Services Manager and the clinical team leads for Therapy services.

  • To provide a comprehensive, effective, streamlined and high-quality clerical/ administrative support service to the Children’s Therapy Service, its patients and service users.
  • Monitoring and validating waiting lists and other reports related to caseloads and referrals.
  • Providing analysis of areas of concern.
  • To support the development and redesign of administrative processes.
  • Monitoring and management of the admin teams demand and capacity.
  • Engage in the introduction of new technology and new working practices and train staff (admin and clinical), to ensure the smooth running of the team/services.
