JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Chile logistic and customer service manager is viewed as a business partner with a key role for their responsibility in executing the supply chain strategy for the entire country; Analyzing and developing processes to maximize using of resources in logistics and distribution; Its management has a direct impact on costs of products due to his own responsibility in the logistic conversion cost, also this position is responsible for the customer service and order management areas for Chile and manage value leadership initiatives and other related improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and develops processes to optimize the cost of imported products
- Analyzes and develops processes to optimize the cost structure of LCC for customized products (labeling and copacking)
- Analyzes and provides KPI´s for measuring the area of logistics management for Chile.
- Review and make decisions to improve performance 3PL´s for MW and PET (S&H, FTDC and copacking) to ensure compliance with quality standards, establishing controls.
- Yearly review and Negotiate 3PL´s rates with the commercial area to ensure savings and efficiencies.
- Responsible for providing technical and logistical support for special projects such as developing and establishing new business units.
- Support the planning of purchases of finished product to affiliates as sales forecasts, negotiates with vendors and purchase orders placed to maintain appropriate levels of inventory (quantity and time), according to financial policies and the requirements provided by the sales department.
- Check the customs and tariff agreements and ensures compliance and adherence to customs regulations. Proactively identifies new local laws that may impact the way the company does business.
- Coordinates and manages the competent authorities, the flow of documentation needed for the nationalization of products.
- Ensures the implementation and measurement of indicators of logistic and customer service area
- Support the step 3 at S&OP process In south latam OE
- Guarantee the management of collaborative relationships with customers
- Responsible for the entire order management and billing process of Chile
- Guarantee the management and health of the floor inventory in Chile
- Serve as support in Chile in the ERP, master data management, traceability transformation program, digital programs as well as its relations with other interfaces and applications that are used in the area for its correct operation.
