Description:

PAK’nSAVE Tauriko is seeking a full time Chilled/Frozen 2IC. The successful candidate will be joining a team of 200 and will be part of a wider team of 22,000 Foodies across the Foodstuffs North Island co-operative.
Our Chilled/Frozen Foods 2IC is responsible for supporting the Chilled/Frozen Foods Manager with all aspects of the department’s operation and management of around 11 team members.
The normal hours for this role are 40-42 hours per week with potential early starts.

Supporting the Chilled/Frozen Foods Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with managing day to day operations in the department including supervision and support of team members.
  • Accurate receipting and checking of inwards Goods.
  • Manage rotation of stock and minimise out of stocks.
  • Minimise department waste.
  • Providing guidance, on the job training and feedback to team members
  • Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results.
