JOB DESCRIPTION

Village Wellness Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic located in Markham, Ontario – next to Markham Main Street. We offer chiropractic, naturopathic, massage therapy, psychotherapy, acupuncture and osteopathic services. The team at Village Wellness Clinic constantly works together to improve and optimize our patient’s health.
We are seeking a motivated, personable, and highly organized Medical Receptionist & Chiropractic Health Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position will involve assisting with patient care and ensuring smooth front-office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, a passion for health and wellness, and a commitment to improving patient care in a fast-paced setting. Exact hours to be determined but must be able to work Tuesdays & Fridays (8am-1pm) and Saturdays (6:45am-4pm).

Responsibilities:

CHIROPRACTIC HEALTH ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the chiropractor during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Help with patient positioning, preparation for treatments, and applying therapy modalities.
  • Provide patient education on exercises, stretches, and wellness protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining patient files, ensuring proper documentation of care provided.
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms between appointments.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to patient care, may assist with medical history intake.

RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s calendar.
  • Check in patients, collect payment, and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding treatments, services, and health insurance.
  • Maintain and organize patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming clinic environment.
  • Support practitioners with administrative tasks, including patient preparation and follow-up.
