Description:

Are you passionate about beauty and get joy from making people feel and look good? We are looking for Holiday Retail Assistants (Summer Hosts) to support our Christchurch stores on a Fixed Term basis until Mid-January 2025, in the lead up to one of the busiest times of the year.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience and create authentic connections with customers
  • Play a key role in supporting the wider team with on-floor presence throughout holiday and ability to pivot (or pirouette as we like to say!) as required
  • Work effectively as part of the team to support running of the store in a safe, fun and efficient way

What success looks like in this role:

  • Confidently and consistently delivers exceptional experiences for our customers
  • Demonstrates strong product knowledge for MECCA’s hero brands and products
  • Shows an active commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Works effectively and safely as part of the team to ensure the successful running of the store

Need to Know:

  • The role of Retail Assistant (Summer Host) is a fixed term, part-time position due to start from late October 2024 through to mid-January 2025.
  • If you have never worked for MECCA before, the first 90-days of employment will be subject to a trail period.
