Job Descriptions:

The incumbent performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of Legal Head. Conducts legal research, handling litigation matters, drafts legal documents and performs other legal related duties.

• Responsible to drafting and reviewing cooperation agreement related to business activity and other relevant documents including MOU, non-disclosure agreement, letters of intent, letters to third parties, and other documents for relevant business unit and distribution channel including for inter-fellow companies and other third parties to support Company’s business activities, to obtain clear legal aspects.
• Provide legal opinion or analysis especially for business action.
• Supporting other departments or functions in their activities related to Corporate Legal matters.
• Assisting Head of Legal on Managing the Litigation related matters to obtain clear legal aspects including to cooperate with relevant legal attorney handling litigation matters and assisting business unit to address litigation matters.
• If relevant, handling to socialize new regulatory.
• Assisting for corporate action, including renewal of company license, especially home office.
• If applicable, assisting Head of Legal Provide input and review on New Product development program including preparing and reviewing Policy wording, application form, set of illustration form and other relevant statement letter with regard to the issuance of new insurance product and/or amending the current product
• Assisting Head of Legal on the preparation of the Legal monthly report to be reported to the Regional and/or Global Chubb.

Qualifications:

• University degree, Preferably Law and have exposure to litigation matters is a must
• Minimum of 3 years Commercial Legal experience
• Experienced in insurance industry or law firm which handles financial institution
• Experienced in drafting & reviewing agreements and doing due diligence
• Having organisational skills and sound knowledge of legal requirements
