Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex technical and legal issues for Circular economy & Take-back regulation in electrical and
electronic equipment, packaging, and batteries. (including Brexit Issues)
- WEEE Directive, Packaging Directive, Battery Directive, Packaging essential requirements
- Take-back : Product/packaging/ battery weight/type data., Recycling information for treatment facilities.
Defective returns, B2B Take-Back., Eco modulated fee - Reparability / Recyclability / Durability, Recycled content, Spare-parts availability
- Reparability / Recyclability / Durability, Recycled content, Spare-parts availability
Provide compliance guidance and advice on both technical and administrative requirements and handle market surveillance cases by providing
required technical documents to member state authorities in cooperation with relevant BU compliance/standard teams and EU sales subsidiaries
(including UK) & production factory subsidiaries
- National authorization’s market surveillance
- Customers & buyer inquiry
- B2B Tender support
General environmental regulation compliance policy (including UK)
- Manuals / Labels / Marking
- Climate change mitigation target and policies
Your qualifications
Master’s degree in chemical/environmental/sustainability engineering
Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a similar function, preferably within a relevant industry
Circular economy, WEEE working experience
Ability to analyze complex technical and legal documents to identify and solve critical issues
In-depth knowledge of European regulations relevant to LGE product compliance
Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting and reporting on information from relevant information
Excellent planning and organizing skills to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
Strong presentation and communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively
Fluent in English both verbal and written (or Korean)
